Holmes HWF-62 (HWF62) Wick Humidifier Filter
A Holmes HWF-62 Wick Humidifier Filter will fit various Holmes humidifier models, including: HM1230, HM1245, HM1280, HM1275, HM1285, HM1290, HM1295, HM1450, HM1700, HM1740, HM1910, HM2005, HM2025, HM 2030. Although it is not made specifically for it, it can also fit White-Westinghouse humidifier models WWHM1600 and also Hamilton Beach humidifier models 05518, 05519 (05910), as well as Halls humidifier model HLS1400.
The filter works with a great technology called Microban technology. This includes built-in protection that prevents the growth of molds, bacteria, and mildew which can cause stains and bad odors. It also contains Arm and Hammer baking soda. This is a natural deodorizer. It deodorizes thew air and eliminate smells which come from pets, litter boxes, garbage, cooking and smoke.
Some people have said that the HWF-62 humidifier filter doesn’t last very long. You can extend it’s life considerably simply by removing it and washing it once a week. This will clean it and remove crust/junk, making it last much longer. You can also try flipping it around, so the opposite side it collecting the dirt, this has also been shown to extend its lifespan.
